Writing a postcard is a small but meaningful way to stay connected. Whether you’re traveling or sending a thoughtful note, a postcard turns a moment into a memory. Here’s how to write one in just four easy steps.
Step 1: Write the recipient’s address clearly
On the right side of the postcard, write the full address. Include the recipient’s full name, street address, city, and country. Clear writing helps make sure your postcard arrives safely.
Step 2: Add the date or your return address
On the left side, you can write the date or where you’re sending the postcard from. This gives context and lets the recipient know when and from where your message was sent.
Step 3: Write your message
Keep your message short, friendly, and personal. Share a quick moment from your trip, how you’re feeling, or simply let them know you’re thinking of them.
Step 4: Add a stamp
Place the stamp in the top right corner of the postcard. Once it’s stamped, your postcard is ready to travel and deliver a smile.
Sometimes, a few simple words on a postcard can mean more than a long message.
